What is Kidney Stone

Kidney stones are also known as renal calculi, nephrolithiasis, or urolithiasis. There are many causes of its occurrence and be found in any part of the urinary tract. These can affect the entire renal system by becoming an obstruction. But these are temporary and can be treated with an effective treatment plan.

Due to impaired urine flow patients can suffer from urinary tract infections. Obstructive kidney stones which are silent and untreated for a long duration can lead to renal failures.
